Re: Tambling does knee

maybe some of you blokes should give some blokes a chance before labelling them duds for life
Good call and while we're at it could we all be understanding of the progress of Gourdis, he is very raw but shows signs of promise. He also seems as keen as mustard but will take several years to develop.

Re: Tambling does knee

Before today i thought Jon was crap and had no idea at all. But today showed me that we have to give these kids time. Today he looked as confident as i had seen him and i reckon had the most touches on the ground or close to it. But the one thing that lets him down is his decision making and also his awareness. Hopefully these can improve overtime and then we will have a very good player on our hands:thumbsu:

is that all:confused:

Re: Tambling does knee

As I mentioned on the main board, of other concern was Foley clearly in a bit of discomfort and limping a bit. He came on and off a few times whilst I was there and came off the last time struggling to get full range of motion through his legs. Maybe a hip or thigh injury, dare I say a groin?
That has the stench of OP all over it.

foley came off with a bad ankle/foot at one point... didnt look like he had anything wrong with his groin

Re: Tambling does knee

did you read that in the paper? did you write them a little letter and abuse them like you did to me? or do you only get that angry when you get misinformation from someone on big footy?

cos surely it would be worse to get the mis-information about someones death in a reconized media outlet, than an AFL players injury?:p

Astro shut the fukc up we are all richmond supportes in here let the others fight amongst themselves

Re: Tambling does knee

JON was a standout for me too. Evasiveness was good and hit targets. Would've preferred for him to dispose quicker at times but showed an ability to find time, which i haven't seen before.
Its just shows how important confidence can be, and when you start beleiving you belong when your 18 or 19 it takes a while before you start beleiving in yourself thats why players are at their best 22-26 y.o. Which is what Plough is trying to acheive with this list and is on the right track it takes time.

astro_toby;9940522 . he has had to live a haunted life because of franklin do him in i reckon. his head would be shot. please i hope your right:thumbsu:[/quote said:
Bit harsh!! but then Tambling could join the haunted club alongside Wellingham! all by products of the magic that is BUDDY!

Agree on his decision making,Still abit unsure,Still lacking in confidence in that area. Not sure why the comment about his awareness. On at least 3 occasions yesterday and one inparticular when Richo was bearing down on him from behind at the very last second he balked Richo to make Richo look 2nd rate.It was very much Maurice Rioli like.

I must admit that i saw that too and it did look good but he never should of been in that situation anyway because he only realised richo was there at the very last second. When he gets the ball he seems to keep on running without even looking to see if there is anyone near him:( hopefully this will improve overtime:thumbsu:

The difference is last year Richo would have nailed him.
