Like we or even kiddies wanna see this ****.We actually have lives to live and want enetertainment not some crap look at what the minute by minute situation is with Iraq. F**k I'm just trying to get by and live without worrying about the U.S. and killing people.

missing home improvement for a few weeks Vs educating yourself about global issues.... im all for a bit of comic relief in these intense times but sad to see the priorities where they are.

no, missing home improvement for a few weeks Vs being brainwashed by a stupid news program about crap that is only designed to sell.

You want to really know about it watch things like foreign correspondent which give an inside veiw of these matters, not a superficial, take is as George gives it view.

Thats SBS. Channel 7 will just simplify the important issues down to black and white Saddam is a bad bad man arguments. Thanks for the US propaganda, I think I'll change the channel.

From what I gather both channel seven and nine are anti-war. This will not stop them from using the war to boost their ratings but by the way they report the issues seem to be from an anti-war stance, especially nine.

Channel Ten are much more central, seem to take both sides into account. ABC I just don't understand, while SBS are so very detailed about everything that it amazes me that a TV station can be like that.

the point isnt to do with Ch 7 or its leanings on this issue(they are considered anti-war anyway) but the type of show being complained about.

Yeah Foreign Correspondent and that other ABC one (Four Corners?) are the way to go for your info. SBS has some good documentaries on the Iraq topic too - Insight is one program.

god, is anti war is conisdered not actually shooting the gun these days or something?

If they were that anti war they would say it, and really report the facts. Otherwise it's superficial crap that is used to appeal to the people who don't want war at the same time as the one's who do.

Want an example? Channel Nine showed plenty of the banners and chants during the report on the student anti-war protest. Channel Ten didn't show any. It's the same as reading the editorials or looking at the cartoons in newspapers, you can easily interpret their stance. But I guess you thought I was being a warmongering psychopath right?
