People say he's crazy or doesn't know what he's doing, that he doesn't understand how Tariffs work, but it doesn't matter if any of that is true or not, he's not using them economically. It's a protection racket! like a Mafia Don (pun intended) he expects companies and countries alike to kiss the ring and offer up tributes in the form of cash, gold, oil, real estate opportunities, natural resources etc to have the Tariffs lifted, and there are some companies/countries on the edge that will be forced to oblige... it's a global grift, he's been doing it for years in the real estate market and couldn't care less about the economy he's destroying, the globalization he's dismantling, the dollar he's devaluing, the country's reputation he's ruining or the people he's hurting... it's Don, it's a con.
