Is Tarks likely to be traded this year or what? i have heard alot of things going around that he is gone at the end of the year and would like to know if we put him on the market what would his value be worth? I doubt that we would trade this bloke as he is in our leadership group but have 2 many players of his type.
Wouldnt mind another Jimmy Clement.

its hard to say because we dont know how good the second rounders will be this year. if he were to get traded i think it would be for a clean swao for a polak or slaopek or something of that value. or a late 1st or 2nd round pick! but i dont think he should be traded!

We will only trade him if we can get value, most likely in the form of a top 20 pick or a good/quick/promising player (salopek, Gilmore etc). The chances of this happening are pretty slim and there's no point trading for the sake of it, so I'd be happy to have him around in '06.

I don't really think Mick would want to trade Tarkyn. Even James Clement said on 3AW the other week that he would be surprised if Tarkyn Lockyer got traded off.

He should be traded. He is currently of reasonable trade value, yet for collingwood to be a finals contender, i cant see him fitting into the framework as an important player. Shouldnt be any more than a fringe player.
