Chris Tarrant is coming home to Melbourne, which club will get him? And will Richmond be interested?

I hope that we don't. Far too old for us. He could be collingwood or Carlton bound for mine...

Doubt we will be keen, Carlton or Hawthorn seem to be the perfect fit for him.

I know its hard to tell from the outside and he may have changed while at Fremantle but he seems to be content to be an AFL footballer without that passion that other blokes have. Talent has enabled him to reach the level he has.

Seems to be able to put it to the side for other things very easily. Hard to see a real footy nut wanting to leave Fremantle and not be part of what they might get over next couple of years.

Our young blokes seem to be desperate to pull Richmond out of our current situation. Dont want an older bloke who sees us as his finance while moving back to Melbourne.

Spewing we couldn’t get Pav, but hope we can get Tarrant, if not, maybe we can coax Kirk or Brad Johnson out of retirement
Or maybe Simmo is refreshed and wants to go around again?

No to us getting Tarrant, but with him leaving and rumors of Grover perhaps not returning up there.....well.....they wouldn't be after a Thursfield or McGuane would they???

Tarrant was a false good player that got found out. It was simply that the Pies supporters have messiah syndrome and built him up to be some kind of superstar. The same is now happening to Dale Thomas.

I also question whether Tarrant has the right attitude.

I have been interested in a few of the names that have been bandied about, but Tarrant is definitely not one of them.

oh i get it you should have just said he had Plappitis. ;)

geez those dockers are in luck.
with sandi basically their sole ruckman and now on one leg and maybe requiring a knee reco, and tarrant leaving we could give them graham and mcgoof in return for a couple of draft picks. failing that perhaps we can settle on a packet of twisties and a mars bar.either way we would be in front.
