Get it on your shoulder where there is plenty of meat, hurts more when you get it done somewhere that is close to the bone like the ankle. I was given this advice from lots of people who have had tatts done on numerous parts of the body, they said the ankle hurts the most.

thast what i have been told. the closer to the bone the more it hurts.... thats why i was thinking of the butt also, cos there is enough meat there for a pack of hyennas. LOL (no comments. ) so yeah i think the shoulder is the place then. Now all i need is money, and a place to get it done, and a decent enough demon to do. cos there arent many good demons out there.

I disagree wholeheartedly. My tattoo goes right across my back and I've never felt pain like the pain I felt when they did the sections over my kidneys in the fleshier bit. The stuff over the spine was a breeze in comparison.
The skull is apparently one of the least painfull spots and there's plenty of bone there. It's like the pinch test, if it hurts to pinch it, then it's going to hurt like heck when you tattoo it.

Triceps hurt like hell too.

You could get Diamond Joe tattooed on your *ahem* lower abdomen. It'd be cheaper and quicker because the tattooist wouldn't have to worry about doing the beard.
