I think the match-ups will be
Warnock vs Roughead( Warnock is the less mobile defender of our talls and i think he would do ok on roughead)
Frawley/Martin vs Franklin( Frawley and Martin have speed and height so should be able to get in front of buddy)
Davey vs Rioli( Davey will probably play half back and through the middle creating play and hopefully goals)
Whelan vs Williams( Experience and is small and about the same speed as williams should beat him)

think bateman may try just play the wing so he'll probably try play on morton as cant see them not tagging davey... wouldnt mind seeing bennel given the job on rioli as a challenge... think martin may also go foward as hawks defence is fairly weak as we know and frawls can prob go 2 buddy... wouldnt be surprised if petterd plays as a tagger...

We will need to swap the match ups around down back when Martin does a few minutes in the ruck. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if Rivers gets a good go at Franklin for some stage, I hope Riv is 100% otherwise I'd rather play Cheney in his spot. Also I'd give Whelan first crack at Rioli but let Bennell have him a few times through the game.

Up forward unless they play Campbell at full back the responsibility is on whoever gets Murphy and Dowler to have a really good game.

It all really comes down to the midfield. Without a tagger (which I think is a good lesson for the guys in there) Sewell, Mitchell and Bateman have to be held. McLean and co. have a reasonable chance to break even in the contested ball, but have to proove they can hold some dangerous players (in particular Bateman) around the ground.

These twilight games have produced nothing but bad memories so far (Carlton round 22 07 was one yeah? and of course the Adelaide game). I fear we will get belted.

Could be interesting. Stef upforward would definatly cause them trouble. Given the weather is going to be nice it would almost have been a good idea to play Juice . Really strech them. That said the twilight games seem to clash with Juice so best he head of to B'rat to teack JW all his wears.

Moss being the weakest Hawk forward meaning Riv could zone off and play the floating role that he does well.

Well every player has deficiencies in their game so I don't see what that has to do with anything.

Not necessarily, the biggest and most obvious deficiency out of all those ins and outs is Rivers durability.

Still think we should have kept Bartram, his tagging I feel would have been extremely handy.

I think you guys can win this, they have no backline. If your midfield can fire and limit the entries into their powerful forward line.
