Is there anyway to derive from these figures an opponents remaining salary cap?

i tried this with a few friends a couple of weeks ago - we couldn't figure it out...

I doubt its possible to be honest. You would need to factor in their trades I guess and when they made them. (i.e. what the traded players were priced at at the time)

If you have tracked their trades, then I'd say it would be possible.

I doubt the system will allow you to know your opponents remaining balance nor the amount of trades left...

I can do it with my league because I have written a script to track all my opponents trades and players.

Next year I am going to expand that out to the top 1000 after R1 and track trade patterns and rank movements over the season. (hopefully the over all winner is in that bunch)
