Agreed.

TLo has a bit of mongrel which gets the forward line moving, doesn't seem to have done anything wrong but his "role" may have been given to Mr Clive.

Grover has been overlooked for Gilmore, I've always thought Grover was the "man in waiting" for Parkers role.

Overall no problems with the selection, will Haddrill and Headland play?.

Will Haddrill go to FB and McPharlap out to CHB for rebounding, with Pav on "drifting" duties?. Can Haddrill deal with Fevola?.

Geez there is going to be a squeeze on spots when Polly & Cookie are fit to play.

Everyone needs to be on their collective toes.

I reckon it is a master stroke playing the young'uns at home. If the more senior players get recalled for an away game they will have to perform or face the WAFL.

The pressure is on. Good thing IMO.

Really disappointed that Shortmuir and Grover aren't getting a run. I love watching Grover burn along the half back flank then boot it 60m. And T-Lo... man he must feel like the unluckiest guy in footy.
Having said that, I'm not Clive's No.1 fan, but I am sooooo looking forward to the roar that's gonna rock Subi to its foundations when he runs on tomorrow!!! If he starts on the ground, imagine the noise when he gets his first touch. If he starts on the bench, the whole of Subiaco is going to be shaking with the noise as he runs on... All the local residents will be wondering if Perth is being invaded by an air force of really LOUD fighter planes!! :D
And it's good to see Dunn and Gilmore being rewarded for outstanding pre-seasons - they must be pretty excited and it is, of course, positive to be giving the young blokes a go and seeing how they handle it... but I tell ya, Shortmuir and Grover must be feeling pretty hard done by. Don't know that they did too much wrong during the pre-season themselves.
