Telstra Bigpond Cable

Hi everyone, I need some help with my broadband cable..

I have just formatted my pc and I am just wondering if anybody knows how to create a new connection...I am using windows XP

I tried doing it this morning and created it successfully, but when I clicled connect on the cable icon, it started to dial up the connection when it shouldn't

If you could help me with this issue I would appreciate it alot...

Go to Start menu > Connect to > show all connections > add new connection > the new connection wizard appears > choose connect to internet > choose set up connection manually > choose broadband >choose your ISP (bigpond) >
enter password etc.

Now your new connection should appear in the network connections menu.
