If anyone gives a shit about international bowling, my older brother is currently over in Qatar representing Australia in two tournaments: the World Singles Championships which finished on the 10th, and the Qatar Open which is right now. Unfortunately, he didn't perform too well in either and missed the cut to the next round but it was certainly a great experience in the country when I was there for 12 days earlier in the month. Fellow Aussie Sean Bowling (yes, that's his surname) is terrific and is bowling as I type this. Jason Belmonte is also bowling in this tournament right now, just to get a feel about how big this tournament this is, being the #1 bowler in the world.

Intresting you mention Jason Belmonte.

I am from Orange NSW as is Belmonte and its quite a sight to look up at the lane record plaques at the local bowl and see his name in virtually every lane with a 300 alongside.
