Tennis commentators

French Open which has just started has changed networks this year, previously we have had a 9 coverage with Stolle, Newcombe and Trabert and this year it has gone to 7 with Roberts and Alexander, who does everyone prefer out of the 2 station's coverages?After watching Lleyton Hewitt's match for the last half hour with Roberts and Alexander, give me 9 anyday.

Channel 9 for me as well with John Newcombe, one of the best tennis commentators on TV because he knows what he's talking about!!

I voted for Channel 9- The problem with 7 is that you get Bruce McAvaney hosting- He is a ****er.

Seven had the Australian Open earlier in the year, and I think they did a good job then.

Like I've said before, Sandy Roberts is a polished professional who can call anything. But then again, any comparisons can be apples and oranges, as Stolle and Newcombe are tennis people who are around the game 24/7, so it really depends upon your taste, I guess... do you want the perspective from reporters, or from tennis people?
