all three may be better than McGough; but we are still to see if that's true.
But we didn't off McGough for them, rather as a late delisting we got for him a spot on the PSD picking ladder....and for him we got Caracella. Again will Cara give more impact than McGough remains to be seen. But while our young finishers such as Egan, Rusling are maturing, Cara gives us cover in that area and allows Didak and Davis to see if they are any good (consistently) in midfield.

He was typical MCG last night. Got plenty of it, handballed reasonably well, but I don't think I saw a kick hit a target. (Apart from the goal he kicked obviously)

I mentioned this on a thread on the AFL page, he'll win their hearts over a couple of times, but then the time will come when he turns it over, gets caught and doesn't man up once - in the same match. He could cost them games. He's got no defensive aspect to his game. For the second Essendon match last year I was right up the back of the new stand. From their I tracked McGough's movments. He didn't man up at all, which meant when the turnover came we were burned. They can have him. I'd love him to play against Collingwood. Mick would have him all worked out.
If FIGJAM is wrong about half that lot then there are still a number of players who should have been delisted before McGough to fit Caracella onto the list.
I suspect it's all abit acedemic though. At the end of this year I think we will have to delist 4 players to use draft picks and another 2 to fit Fanning and Leanard onto the lsit as their rookie years will be up and it's either upgrade them or say goodbye. McGough should have survived the last cut but the next one is another matter entirely.

Watched a bit of the StKilda game on the weekend, he creates more rebound opportunities for the opposition than anybody else in the game, possibly with the exception of Damian Peverill. Got the ball a million times but turned it over by foot time and time again.
He'll be handy at StKilda, but you know when he's carrying the ball along the wing/half forward that you just have to wait for the miskick and you'll score a goal on the rebound.
