I'm more relieved than excited about today's win because quite frankly I think the Blues got out of jail after quarter time.

The first quarter was an absolute disgrace and the most vomit inducing crap I've seen for a while. Lucky we were playing the purple rabble, most other sides in the comp would've pounded us into submission.

Yeah the last three quarters were great but we should never accept nor tolerate performances like that, good teams don't do that.

I have a feeling we'll see a similar effort against Richmond. A big emotional win makes people forget their short comings.

But yes, it was vomit enducing.

Great to see Ratts give a spray. About bloody time.

Amazing how loose we let teams get against us :(

Just think, with the amount of scoring shots we get (another thing we still need to improve on, goal kicking wise), how well we would do if we tightned up for 4 quarters? We seem capable of doing it when we "lift" and start doing major damage, particularly in these "comeback" final quarters we've demonstrated. But other times... it's quite embarrassing. :o

Whilst our defence can be our weakness, (particularly as it's undermanned ATM) but it's not entirely at fault when the ball is flowing so fast through the middle.

I'm not sure what the coaching staff has to do, but whatever it is I hope the issue is corrected sooner rather than later. It may just be work rate, but sometimes I think it's the gameplan/structure as well.

Why have we gone back to our old ways of letting teams break away from us in the first quarter AGAIN???? We got into this bad habit last year and it cost us alot of games:thumbsd: I thought after the first few matches of the season we put it all behind us,but it's sneaking back into our game again, very frustrating!!

Just a terrible start, but hey, to our credit, we managed to reel Fremantle in, and ended up winning by a reasonably handy margin, given we were behind all day. Tough to win interstate at any time, but when you cough up a 6 goal lead early in the second quarter, makes it all the much harder.

Very proud Carlton supporter tonight.

I thank 'hashem' the Jewish G-d, that we have Chris Judd.

Worship who you want. I heard Swannie had more sway than Joe.
