I recon we will beat St.Kilda. There is no basis to it just a gut feeling...i have felt it most of the year since maybe rounds 5-6 where saints were begining to look the goods. After winning the final 3 quarters of the round 9 game i knew it would happen. Added with the whole 'essendon protecting their greatest ever season' ESSENDON WILL WIN...19 points.

We don't need to beat St Kilda, which is good, because we probably won't.

The equation is like this:
We need to win one game out of the next 2 (either Fremantle or St Kilda)
We need Port Adelaide to lose against both Carlton and Brisbane.

At that stage, we will be clear in 8th spot, and we just need to beat Hawthorn to secure the place.

Good luck to your guys, I believe Essendon will make the finals when I look at the game fixtures for Essendon and Port Adelaide.

Your mob has some fantastic players but unfortunately in the end it comes down to a solid structure. I don't really know many of your players so I'm uncertain if your backline is anywhere near strong enough for the likes of Milne/Schneider/Roo/Kosi. And Lloyd out is huge, he's one of my most respected players in the AFL.

I don't think there's enough incentive for Essendon to win this game other than defending their 20 game winning-streak, but i think that kind of thing is more of what the supporters care for, not the players.

tl;dr Essendon will make the finals without the need for a win over the Saints Good luck though
