On Ollie Pope to top score for England @ 10.98, with a nibble on him for the series @ 21.49.

He’s batting first drop and top scored both innings in the warm up game, surely that’s overs?

England in from $3.20 a month ago to $2.54 to win the first test. If they’re going to win a Test this is their best chance before their bowlers start to break down and ours recover. Haven’t backed it as they’re now too short, but will look to jump on if they bounce up to $3 on day 1.

Some of the predictions of us winning 3-1, 4-1 or whitewashing seem extreme to me. I think we'll win on home soil, but I think we're being too heavily favoured.

Not that I can bring myself to ever bet on England, but they do offer some better value I think than the Aussies.

I think they're a chance in Sydney, especially if the series is already decided by then.

Some High Bat value around - A.Carey @ $11 to top score for Aus in the first innings looks a decent bet.

Jamie Smith to hit a 4 and a 6 looks a decent bet as well statistically @ $4.50 - albeit, from a relatively small sample size. Will be throwing the bat with the tail - the short straight Gabba boundaries will suit him. The traders have got both of these prices wrong in my book.

Some High Bat value around - A.Carey @ $11 to top score for Aus in the first innings looks a decent bet.

I'm not sure I'd be taking $11 for a wicketkeeper batting at 7.
He's made two test hundreds from 66 innings - one he wasn't top scorer (Warner 200 game) and the other he batted at 5.

The only scenario I see this playing out is Australia getting skittled for 150 and Carey comes in early to dig out a 40+ score.
