He has, but hasn't played on one for three years.

Oh yeah goodes, that used to ruck. Is he a small forward?

grimes can play tall or small.

Unlike bachelor, he usually goes pretty good big blokes.

Before his first major Injury, grimes was playing key defender and killing it

Then they went and got Chaplin, and Astbury came on.

Grimes can play key defender. The point is they don't want him to. He's our quickest, most versatile defender. It hurts the team to shackle him to a monster when Astbury is better-equipped size-wise, and Grimes can take a dangerous small/medium and provide run.

I reckon regardless of defensive makeup Batchelor has to play round 1.
Not only cause I reckon he's best 22 but he appears to be super hungry for it, he will rip it to shreds against the blues.

Stable six or stable group with a stable plan Nut?

Injuries, form...there is a preferred six I agree...but they will all have a part to play over the season
Good point.
Ross Lyon has proven the parts can change but the structure and game plan are key to success.

I agree. I'd drop Chaplin in a heart-beat. Astbury still has alot of "growing" into the key defender role, but i'd take some short term pain to get more experience into him.
Hell, it even looks like Elton could overtake Chaplin this year (in terms of pure performance, excluding how Chaplin can organise guys around him)
