The best player in each position

Who do you think is our best forward, midfielder and defender ignoring key position players? I'm excluding the talls because otherwise it'd basically go something like this every time: Cloke/XXX/Reid

Forward = Beams
Midfielder = Pendlebury (sorry Swanny)
Defender = Davis

The forwards are the hardest to pick if you take away Cloke and Dawes, because we kick it too them 80% of the time going forward.

I went for Beams, because he has played most of his career there, and while he has moved to the midfield more recently, I still see him as a half forward before a mid.

Pendles is easy, it's either him or Swan.

Defender, well it's Leon, Heater or Harry really, but I'll pick Leon just for the Cinderella story turnaround this year.

I'll go for something a little different as well, as I don't see these guys being our best in each position but they're worthy of being mentioned (apart from Pendles, I think he has been our best):

Krakouer, Pendlebury, Toovey
