I was thinking if we could be granted on thing in 2007 that could propel us forward it would for Sarge to realise his potential. For a KPP he's endured a tough apprenticeship , never really been able to get on the park for a sustained period. For mine he has what it takes, good grab, moves well and a rarity in yellow & black, kicks the bloody thing straight, and a bit of mongrel. Look at most of todays Key forwards and all of them, I repeat All of them would have taken 4 or so seasons to settle. Nows the time Sarge, knuckle down and earn your stripes pal..:thumbsu:

The most important thing for the sarge this season is consistency, the gap between his best and worst is massive, his best is elite, however he goes MIA for long periods. He has talent, lots of it, i'd just prefer to see him play 20-22 games this season, doesnt need to be a matchwinner and kick plenty of bags, that will come once he has confidence in his body and self from playing regularly.

one thing that does hold him back is the presence of the big fella in F50...Richo would attract at leats 50% of forward thrusts, which doesnt leave much to any other KF....thats why I was keen to see sarge as the Lone ranger during pre season...Look forward to him building on what he showed today

NO JUMPER!

who wears jumpers fat forward pockets and skinny girls thats who

to me he really comes across as a dumb footballer he is a good mark and probably the best kick out of the tall forwards but he needs to get some cheap possesions and also a few crumby goals instead of a 2 possesion game for 2 goals

I think the big key for him is to get fully fit.I have no doubt he could kick 35-40 goals this year if he can get his body right. He would start games off last year kicking 1 or 2 in the first qrt but then go missing. He is a beautiful kick & hopefully he & the other "if" Polak can have big years.
