Leaves Zane Trew as the only uncontracted player yet to learn his fate although the status of Cat B rookies, Baker and Dewar, is unclear

Some changes to the coaching staff and a reallocation of roles

• Pratt departs as backline coach
• Webster (forwards) replaces Pratt as backline coach
• Knight (midfield) replaces Webster as forwards coach
• Schofield takes over full control as midfield coach
• Shuey added as stoppage coach
• Horsley (Development) replaces Wiley as WAFL coach
• Nicoski is also no longer a development coach after taking an admin role for the club in the southwest
 
Within this article was confirmation that Trew, Baker and Dewar have all received one year extensions for next year



Meanwhile, the Eagles have confirmed midfielder Zane Trew, Tyrell Dewar and Jordyn Baker have signed one-year contract extensions for 2024.

Trew will remain on the rookie list for a fourth season, while Baker has been upgraded to the rookie list from the category B rookie list to create room for Naitanui Academy product Coen Livingstone.

Dewar will remain on the category B rookie list for next year.

Two year extension for Liam Ryan through to the end of 2026. He’ll be 30 when this extension expires and a free agent
 
Good news. Other than 1st year rookies that leaves Barnett, Burgiel, JWilliams, Culley and Yeo that I’d like to see given extensions. Hate to say it but wouldn’t mind seeing Duggo getting offered band 3 FA compo (directly after our 2R), can’t see him being offered more than this after the convenient salary cap realignment.
