Most of the time i don't even understand what i'm doing. I guess i'm scared of being raised.

Depends how much he raises. If he min raises like most of these morons I call. But otherwise I fold. There's no way you are ahead to a raise on the flop. If he's bluffing let him, because your hand is weak and can't handle a second bullet that any good player would fire on the turn.
