West Coke already have a team in the WAFL so if they get relegated, where do the Fivepeat spooners go? They have only won 11 games in 5 seasons which is worst than 11 in 4 seasons for the "AFL" level weagles.Alright so over lunch I've pondered this some more and I think for the relegated AFL teams ie Norf and Spoonmond you'd have to at least finish in the top 10 of the VFL before being admitted back into the big league. So under my proposed system you'd likely see those two teams spend a few years in the VFL until they can work their way ahead of Frankston and Willamstown etc before eventually rejoining us in the AFL in the latter part of the decade.
As for West Coast, footy in Perf is just about dead, I think the WAFL is kaput or something too, so a mandatory two year 'get your shit together' before being welcomed back. Thoughts?
