im aware we have some injuries, hopefully we come good in tonights game.
or is it tomorrow against the dogs?

Anyone ever though about turning Griff into a key forward....He has a good lead, nice kick and is tall?? Any time he is thrown forward he does the job. Put him down there for a few games and he would compete as well as the Hoff....On that topic, why didnt our recruiters see him...

Because we had identified the second coming....the champ, the legend....HIS NAME IS GILL!!! AND IF YOU QUESTION HIS BRILLIANCE HE WILL EAT YOUR CHILDREN!!! *cough*

Westhoff was on the radar but by the time we had gotten around to the pick we could use on him, we had already picked up Sellar and Tippett, both of which we thought would go in the top 10. So instead we opted for a mature age forward as insurance for Hentschel in Gill. He's doing the job quite nicely too.

Ratten's got a two year contract now. Looks like this issue will be dead. Thank God.

I actually think the chances of him igniting a Barry Hallesque personal and career turnaround are quite good - just a hunch of course.

Wouldn't hurt him at all to relocate to sleepy Adelaide in a far more affluent and professional atmosphere than the keystone kops setup Don Kernaleone and the rest of the musical chairs men at Carlton have presided over both on and off the field.

But DT Mike and Wallsy think there is a really good vibe at Carlton now after they attended Kouta's testimonial on the weekend. Pity the good vibe doesn't equate to winning games yet....

If you asked him today Wallsy would say that Fev epitomises a selfishness that has resulted in Carlton going down the tubes - he changes his mind more than a female faced with a choice of matching bag/f-me boots.

It would be a good move for us (of course depending on the deal)

I think Fev would realise Neil Craig isn't the kind of coach who would tolerate any of his crap.

I'm amazed that some people (half of us) are willing to put up with our embarrassing forward line instead of recruiting one of the best forwards in the comp. "Oh but we have tippett and sellar" yeah because they are ready to step up next year aren't they.. Sellar is the great hope who is languishing in the Bs for Glenelg!

Sellar was also the 3rd youngest player taken in last years draft.

Yes I know but he is only playing ressies in the SANFL so why would we want to reject a bloke like Fev coming to the AFC? Sellar is still a couple of years away from AFL footy at least I'd imagine. I expected a bit more from him this year to be honest.

Didn't Craig say he preferred to give fringe players a full reserves game rather than on and off the bench in the league side.

Maybe he's in the reserves by design NOT just by form as your suggesting ;)

WW - please keep logical thoughts off this board as it may derail it forever

 hey Westies only just missed out on the final 8 .....not a bad affort I would have thought.

I'd happily have Sellar in the red & black ;)
