Hawks had lost 7 in a row before their rout of Wolves I believe. Knicks have looked a bit tired and broken lately for sure, despite still winning fairly often.
We’ve been able to manage to do enough against some sides but we blew a big chance against the Spurs.

Been throwing minutes at all the bench to not just McBride Clarkson and Kolek so defensively we’ve been pretty poor.

Hawks do look good though when they’ve played well.

At least theyll come back.

Been a bad year overall for injuries. Just looking at the top West teams i think theyve all had key players out to varying extent, except maybe the wolfs.

The Lakers for example have incurred injuries to their wafer thin roster at all times.

Jalen Johnsons 30 mill per year deal for next 5 years is the best deal in the NBA for sure. A franchise changing move that one

Yep, not quite as good as when Steph Curry signed his rookie extension. Dude was on $10m and won 2 x MVP and 2 x rings.

Should add Okongwu and Alexander-Walker are both on $15m each and somehow elite sharpshooter no one has heard of Vit Krejci is on $6m/3 as well.

Also I want to over react, Dyson is shooting 12% from 3pt which I will state must be the worst in the league for his position and minutes. Worst by a long way. Be an elite defender but you gotta knock down at least 30% or pretend you can.

Its crazy how much better Atlanta plays without Trae Young. A deal that can turn Trae into Anthony Davis would be a win for. I cant see Dallas wanting to go over the second apron with this side which will happen unless they can shed salary. A deal like

Trae Young to Sacramento for Schroeder, Saric and Monk
Rissacher + Schroeder + Monk + picks for AD
Dallas then flip Schroeder for a expiring contract to a side like T-Wolves

Flipping Schroeder for a expiring deal + salary cap saving overall saves them 20+ mill to take them under the first apron.
Sacramento dump some crummy contracts to take on another one in Young so fairly sideways
Atlanta get a missing piece of sorts
That porky fella helps

Sums up current day basketball

Champganie against the Knicks hit 11 x 3 and had 3 x FT for all his points game off life

Next game hits 2 from 11 3pt attempts.

Aside from OKC at this stage its quite amazing how small a gap there is between the next group of teams and how often injury and scheduling impacts results. Obviously Denver, Orlando and the Lakers are three that come to mind for me that have heavily had results impacted by injuries. Even my own Knicks right now we have a few carrying injuries but had a pretty heavy schedule over the past 3 weeks which you can tell in the last 3 games we have struggled.

Philly have almost everyone on the court now and like a mile better , Celtics are flying..

Outside of a couple of teams that are struggling for obvious reasons its unpredictable where every time you think a side will win a certain match they get smacked then follow it up by beating a side ahead of them that you feel that were no chance of doing.
