Someone mentioned in another thread in passing, but with Sharp trying out midfield, could he find a role as a tagger at AFL level as he looks like he might have bit more upper body size and strength to go with this run. We really only use Wagner, it would be good to have a back up in that role, especially as we really didn't have a tagger to use against Gold Coast in last year's final.

I think Sharp is playing inside mid at peel to work on his contested game, he’s still a wing but has issues he needs to work on, inside mid at WAFL level is all he needs to be a wing at AFL.

On someone like Bailey Smith, I wouldn't mind to try him as a tagger.

You would sacrifice a lot of team structure, having to change up your centre bounce setup and everything else but it is worth a shot.

We get a rare 14 in the WAFL Seniors with 3 down at Reserves - Riddle, Kickett and Luke. Both our emergencies that aren't traveling already named - Cox and NOD. Whan's WAFL League debut.

For what it's worth, Lucas Robinson has been named at fwd pocket for the League team. Surely should spend good time inside mid after that performance. But tbf, Souths are getting Blechynden and Parker back this week.

Re Riddle, he has plenty of time to develop his craft, I am glad they kept Ollie Murphy in despite McDonald being back in the team, this year is make or break for him.
