The Matrix Explained
  • The Matrix Explained

Now that it is clear that not all posts are equal, what is the Matrix and what kind of posting should we be recording for the betterment of the league?

As can be seen in my nifty graphic above, there are 3 Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) that I have used to categorize quality posting. I have also provided some examples of where certain posters have rated and also where the most desirable location is within the Matrix.

okeydoke7 can be seen as a poster that is heavily focussed on self-promotion and scores quite low on the interactive and value adding categories.

Hate scores exceptionally high in value add and well in interaction but not as well in self promotion.

Club by club, each team scored very high in the self promotion category however the Bombers were easily the highest scoring self promotors with 87.5% of all Bombers posts scoring 2 or more on the Self Indulgence Scale (SIS)

The most interactive team in the competition last season were the Swamprats, surprisingly, lead by club champion, and possibly captain philreich who scored a whopping 96.2% in the Interaction Metric Performance Indicator (IMP)

The least interactive team last season was the Wonders with ClarkeM and SSwans2011 only averaging 0.002 IMPS per post.

The team that added the most value in Season 34 were the Warriors with 4 of their main posters averaging 3.2 Value Implied Parameters (VIP's) per post

The Gumbies scored 0.000000001% and as a team averaged -2 VIP's per game proving they add no value to the league.

    The Posting Scale
  • As promised we are back with the next instalment of the Posting
    Matrix.

The "Super Spreadsheet" has been hard at work calculating where everybody fits into the next rating system developed by yours truly The Jesus to help the nerds accurately understand the TRUE state of the league.

The only question is what kind of poster are you?

That's right friends I have developed a scale system based on the arts with a complex math program to rate each poster from A - F and categorized each individual post in the key of Minor or Major.

Here is a quick glimpse of the complexity involved.
    Major.
    Tonality 1.png
    Minor.
    Tonality 2.jpg

    Findings.
As was expected the higher grades A and B had very few Minor key posters. The biggest exception was Grand Uncle Horace who scored an A Minor.

As we moved further down the gradings we had a higher number of Minor posters. Notable exceptions were cooney scoring a D Major and PhenomenalV1 who scored an F Major.

    Club by Club.

The lowest ranked club was the Bears, by a long way, with an overall ranking of E Minor.

The highest ranked Club was the Warriors with an overall ranking of B Major.

Only two clubs on aggregate did not fall into either key with the Gumbies rating a D Flat and the Demons rating a C Flat.
