hey iw as wonderin if any of you guys have this game

i have been anticipating it for ages and am buying it l8a today, cant wait

may have 2 tone down the graphics but even with the sims 1 and its average graphics it never realli fazed me coz it was so fun

i have heard a lot of stuff that has been left out that was in the sims 1's expansions so it leaves the door open for new The Sims 2 expansions

i dont mind this 2 much but i would if they bring out a The Sims 2 Vacation or Makin Magic next month cos that would jsut be crap but then again i'd still buy em

aint gone into much depth with it but looks awesome so far

graphics are also great, its good 2 be able 2 zoom right into their level

I've been playing it since Friday. SO far its pretty good. As you said zooming into their level is great. Lots more interactings with the sims. Only problem i've had so far is when my sims become "best friends" the game locks up. Happen 3 times. I'm still yet to workout what to do about it.

Well I got it and took it back on the same day, it was far too slow on my computer.

I met all the requirements though, which was dubious..

my speed is fine and its only medium-high levels

i luv it

there is definatly a lack of certain items in comparison to sims 1 and all the expensions but it doesnt matter much

i luv bein able 2 move the camera anywhere unlike any other game

the only crash i had was when internet explorer randomly opened and that just overloaded my comp (only 512 ram and 1.6 ghz but i have a radeon 9800 pro)

so yeh its mad fun, if u liked the sims even a lil then you have 2 get this game

if u didnt like the sims 1 then you probably wouldnt like this one cos its the same type of game except advanced

Well, its not exactly a deep game. Ive been playing it for about 4 days and I have to say, the improvements seen could fit in an expansion. The only big improvement is the family aspect and that barely kept my interest for more than a couple of generations. Its very much the sims 1 with less items, but aspirations (which really adds very little to gameplay), more ways to flirt and kiss, and the whole DNA thing. Not good enough for me. But I suppose that Maxis is just trying to provide the bare minimum so they can release about 5 expansions with 1000 new items. Sorry, thumbs down for me.

if you need sims get a life, a real life of your own.....see the door you can go out of that, put the mouse down you wont need it

Same can be said about any game.

People who play RPG's, they should get a life.
People who play FPS such as the Quake and Unreal series, what I like to consider the "my balls are bigger than yours" games, they should get a life.
People who watch the Brownlow just to see the girlfriends and wives of the players, they should get a life.
Anybody whos ever watched p0rn, they should get a life.
I could continue on, but I can't be stuffed.
