Can you solo kick to yourself instead of the bounce off the ground? Solo kick like in GAA football?
Is that legal?

Yes, you can but it's kind of pointless as you still need to bounce or touch the ball on the ground every 15 metres.

I don't think so. I think the solo would count as a kick and so restart the 15m count as soon as you catch your own kick

It's pretty hard to run fast and kick to yourself probably why it never happens

Looks like the AFL closed the door on the solo in 2019
