That is why our percentage was crap last year, even though we won twice the games we lost.
Not mentally hard enough to either hurt side once we were in front or be able to put the brakes on and stop a blowout.

Stats as everyone knows can be made to show anything they like to support their argument. Just like Joel Bowden's stats ,some people on here gave him 3 votes when if you really think only about 40% or less of his kicks went to no player of ours the others went to the other team or got picked off .

Stats dont lie but they dont give you the truth either,maybe a perception of a truth.
They are just numbers and can be highlighted and manipulated in a way to give a view the presenter would like you to accept.

When did we play (How many days after the last game)
Where did we play
What was the Weather like
Who did we have injured
As you can see there are so many variables in losing a game of footy that to highlight one or two aspects of a losing stat really can give you a false perception of a situation.
If you are going to look at historical data, wouldn't it also be fair to show the Number of Wins, and the Wins greater than 7 goals, with the average winning margin.
Only by looking at both sides of the coin, can we make an educated judgement call on the performance of the Coach.
It's very typical of the media to shoot from the hip, so anything said must be taken with a grain of salt, and judgment reserved.

good point last year we only had 2 really big wins Beat Roos buy 51 and Eagels buy 60 we had a few or so wins by 30 something points but not in the 40's i'm pretty sure that's about right.we got trashed by Ess n about 5 defeat's by over 40 points we really to need to not have so many like 7 goals defeat's n have some bigger wins.
