The team with no name

Hey guys, just after an opinion thanks.

In one of my leagues there's a bloke who did not name his team at all. It shows up as a blank with his name below it.

The issue is, no name = no link to view his team.

For mine this is pretty low in a non serious league that's set up for a bit of banter between mates.

He's been called out on it numerous times throughout the season and has refused to name his team to this day. Now I'm up against him in a knockout final. I called him out one last time and even told him who I'm naming as captain, and to make victory sweeter!

This weekend I'm driving the karma bus, who's on board to help me knock this clown out in straight sets.

Right click/view source, search for the teams directly above and below him, and there might be a bit of code like <a href="/?p=other_teams&tid=1000&lid=1" >TEAMNAME</a> but without a team name.

Or highlight your teams name then push Tab (or Shift-Tab if they're above you) then push Enter and it'll go to their team.

I wonder if you "dobbed" on him by emailing Virtual Sports whether they would (1) ban him, (2) enter a name for him and/or (3) recode their software so this can't be done next year?

The <tab> or <ctrl/tab> thing does not work.

Whatever fodzilla said has gone straight over my head.

I probably email them to alert them to the issue, surely just making team name a required field should suffice. CBF dobbing this one bloke in, just don't want to see the same crap again next year.

I probably should have made it clearer. In your league page where it shows the finals match ups, you need to highlight the team link above this guys team, then push tab as it will then select the next link along. Shift+tab goes in reverse. Hopefully that helps.

Just figured out how to do this (opened in IE instead of chrome helped), but because he has no name means he does not have a hyperlink to tab to.

Wow! Big thumbs up to Virtual Sports who have just replied to my email within an hour to inform me the issue has been rectified. The team with no name is now "[insert name here]"

Should be a close match. The predictor has me winning with 2463 to 2458!
