What we are currently witnessing is the Willo_ Effect, Yes kids, the Willo_ Effect..
No I am not talking about needing to take a shit within 20 mins of taking a coffee... although you all know it is true. (especially you dennis crumpet ... i've seen the tapes)
The Willo_ Effect is the ray of sunshine that has been shining on good ol Geelong for the last 3 weeks. Sure we have only won 1 game and lost 2, but I am talking about something bigger, more powerful, more magical than Qooty wins.
All of a sudden our B&F count is somewhat up to date, Rookies are starting to enjoy themselves..
Our simmers and admin are much more relaxed knowing that while there is still a large chance of a team sheet error, it is still less than it was before.
Since the dark times of Quivorir rule have ended Geelong has become a better place, people speak to each other now instead of cowering in their mandatory Shaun Atley shirts.
People are no longer as embarrassed to say they play for the Geelong Wolves....Instantly the committee room also seems a happier place.
What a time to be alive.
But something even MORE amazing is happening, Qooty players across the land are starting to look at Geelong as maybe a place they might maybe one day considering entertaining the conversation about maybe joining..
And with Trade Week being a long running stain on the pants of the Admins and nothing more, the Willo_ Effect has had an impact here.
In the space of 3 days the Willo_ effect has caused more trade week activity than the last 3 seasons (maybe)
And 1 league legend wasn't enough for me.... so I went and got 2
