First off, I will admit I did not go to last night's game. I took the lazy option and watchd it on the TV. But what a dismal effort. Obviously last weeks result flattered them. It shows how bad Geelong must be. But as usual, the backline looked out of place, the midfield beaten AGAIN and the forwards really had no idea once they had the ball. All in all it was very depressing and a reality check as to where this footy team really is at.

hey bad luck about last night, im not here to brag or whatever, ive just got a question for ya's
I found it a little strange to find Shane Woewoedin, the guy thats meant to be your best player, stuck in the back pocket...what was the go with that??
Has he been played there all year? or was that just a once off thing? Because it seems a little strange to stick a guy in the back pocket after he won a brownlow in the centre the previous year.

Firstly, I don't know if he is our best player. He was last year becuase he was playing really well but he has not put the runs on the board this year to be our best.
As for playing him down back, that is just one of the moves our great coach has done.
I know it is a joke. When we played the Crows he played on Jarman. Jarman kicked 6 yet did not move him all day.
But I think Woey is carrying an injury. He broke a bone in his back and I think it would still be bothering him. Surely it would be better to reat him for the rest of the year, but if he plays, play him where he does best, in the midfield. The problem though is that he would be tagged out of the game.

look yeh if you had any intelligence wot so eva you would know that woewodin started off in the backline when he first came to Melbourne and since we have lost Inga we've been tryna fill in the gaps...
look @ wot happened to Crawford after his brownlow victory i think woey's dun alrite this year compared to Crawfs and the guys have got alot on their minds...
why don't ya just support the guys to end on a high note....
instead of bagging out players and coaches...
if you think that Daniher and the guys are doing such a bad job then y don't all of u'se that think u know best go and take over....
i don't mean 2 sound agressive it just annoys me that sum people can only trust their team and coaches when their winning every game..

i taped the game, but i don't know if i want to watch it!
for the past week me and dees*gal have been surrounded by people from Sydney who don't like AFL... who don't even know how its played! i thought that a week without football won't be too bad seeing as we are not doing to well at the moment, but come Saturday night the text messages kept comming and the results became more and more depressing by the minute.
i thought that the Hawks would come out hard, and i knew we won't win but i never thought we'll get thrashed..... well at least Melbourne can keep me surprised!
