Can absolutely say it is genetic. My grandfather was the worst (Saints fan). Went to a Lions - Saints game with him at the Gabba years ago. 2 women sitting in front of us (also saints fans) were talking about a free given against saints and said it was there. He leaned over to them and said "oh just shut up would you. You don't know what the bloody hell you're talking about"

And he's probably laughing in his grave in seeing what became of Carlton
