I was just trying to find the CPU Speed (MHz) of my computer and looked everywhere. Right clicked My Computer and all that - so I thought I'd quit wasting time and put it out there.

Thanks team.

Most systems dont show CPU speed in system properties. They usually show something along the lines of "x86 family # model # stepping" When your computer starts up it should say then.

there are several programs that will give you any info on your puter that you could possibly want.. including a whole heap that you dont.. Sisoft Sandra is one.. but for the cpu speed I would just watch my puter when it boots up.. it will flash on the screen for a few seconds :)

Exactly....x86 Family 6 Model 8 Stepping 10

All that means very little, except that the CPU speed is 900mhz.

But yeah, you have to know where to look when your computer is booting, else you might miss it. It will probably be somewhere between 400 & 1000
