The main thing fella's is to not worry about the ladder as it is only round 8 , the main thing is just to concentrate on the next game , try & get the positive result & then worry about the ladder at the latter parts of the season , but right now were in the boat of a so far so good.

Yeh, our ladder position really doesn't mean much at the moment, all I know is that winning beats the hell out of losing. We have to be realistic and take one game at a time. After the next 3 games we have tough ones coming up and with the even nature of the competition this year we are probably going to need 12 wins at least to make the finals.
With that being said if we see any september action this year I will be travelling over there in a flash.

I know the ladder position doesn't really matter so much being early in the season but had we kicked one more goal we'd be in fifth position and if we had kicked another five goals we'd be in the top four. Have we ever been in the top four during the course of a season before?

Despite the hype, we have been in this situation before. Remeber when Leach kicked the goal after the siren to beat Brissy? That put us at 5-3 in 1997. What a champion he was.

Wasn't that the game where Voss and co had a sook after the game for some reason? Anyone remember why they were complaining? I've forgotten.
I think they were complaining about the possible push in the back that Leach did on Leppitsch? (I think it was him).
Leach did have his hands in his back, but he also played for the free kick, and acted pretty badly if I remember correctly, hence why he probably didn't get it.
The other thing I liked about that game was the Leppitsch, as he was leaving the field, chucked a tantrum, ripped his jumper off, swung it over his head and threw it on the ground. It was about then that 5000 people laughed at him and he slunk off to the changerooms. Pretty funny stuff...
