absolutely, 6 x 25 mins is a huge effort. speaking of west perth, anyone know how ben anderson in settling in??

I know there are a few people at West Perth who believe that Anderson can make a big contribution up foward for them this season.

Will be interesting to see how he goes.

Also interested in some of the other new Victorians at West Perth such as Nick Gieschen, Zac Perez, Mark Fitzgerald and Darren Atkinson.

Doesn't the WAFL not bother with trial games and have a pre-season cup competition?

The sponsorship of the pre-season cup was withdrawn a couple of years ago. No one was ever all that interested in it anyway. Personally, like the Wizard cup, its just a waste of time awarding anything for these comps since teams take them with varying levels of seriousness. The 6x25 for that reserves game shows what clubs really want - the chance to see as many players as possible show what they can do.
