Does anyone else believe that the Carlton side named for this Sunday will not be the same as the one that runs on to the ground?
Kouta, Whitnall, Porter? Surely not.
The last I heard was Kouta would be out for at least 2-3 weeks, Whitnall still had 2 weeks to go and Porter had another 1 or 2 weeks before returning.

I received an SMS from the club at 7.30 last night naming the team, and had to read the message twice to make sure I had read it correctly.
I would like to believe that it is true, and I would certainly like to believe that we are not stupid or desperate enough to play injured players. But I just don't think we will see these three play on Sunday.

i just saw on the news now, kouta is almost a certainty to play, whitnall trasined VERY well and even porter looked alright so fingers crosed their all ready to come back this sunday coz we bloody well need 'em!

Too good to be true. I tried to preview the game but didn't know who would be in for real.

Check out the AFL site. The injury list underneath the lineups still says that each player is out for 1-2 weeks. Are we trying to throw Essendon off the scent? That's not going to work. The Bombers know our match plan should the stars not play. It happened Round 3, remember?

Please, please, let them play and let them be fit. The team looks great on paper.
