Ling did a great job on Goodwin and he shut down Hasleby the week before. He is back to tagging and doing well.

Yep, the question really is, can you put in a player who tags as well and CAN dispose of a ball properly, give some fringe players a go, Ling is slow and makes too many mistakes for a experienced player.

CrEsswell won't come back (unless you really do mean Crosswell). Hocking has a long way to go until he's considered ready. Cresswell was at Geelong for one year, he's not the ubercoach every one seems to think. For instance look at Brisbane this year.

That is a valid point, but look at their injury list too. I just remember that Creswell made our midfield very functional in his day, and the coach/s doing the midfield role now are doing no where near as good a job. He obviously knows a fair bit about the caper.
