Thoughts on Farmer?

I just thought I'd get your thoughts on Jeff from how he has played this year.

We were shattered to lose him, but looking back, it's been good for our club. I have seen enough games to suggest that Wiz hasn't really lived up to expectation this season. I am not totally talking goals here, but he has the ability to dominate games, and he hasn't at all this season.

I know you will defend him and that's fine, but really, he hasn't had a good year at all has he??

P.S - The pick you gave us got us Clint Bizzell too, so I really believe we got the better of the deal in the end!

Jeff has been average this year. No doubt. I think Connollys search for speedy midfielders has put Jeff in a position he's not suited to (i.e. wing or in the centre).

Jeff should have a 20 m rope tied from his ankle to a goal post. He's looked dangerous when left up forward (i.e. Hawthorn game).

btw, don't think you guys getting Bizzell was a win. Bit of a draw and perhaps worse for you guys if Jeff fires up next year.

I was quite surprised with Simmonds, as I didn't batter an eye lid when he left. I certainly have now! It's so much more a win for you guys with Ellis out with a serious knee injnury.

Not sure about the Biz comment though. He will be VERY high up in our B&F and he has been great all year, probably better than Little Wizzy.

Why is Bizzell played in defence though, I always thought he was a dangerous forward.
