MOloney looks very good has put on quite alot of bulk, Bartel I hope will have a blinder of a game, Bynes very impressive tough for a skinny fella. I was impressed with chambers willingness to put his big frame in the way, but I think the stand out was mooney if he can play CHB I would love to see Harley playing HBF.

Was very impressed with Mooneys game and also his temper, he controlled it well when I thought that we might see the Mooney of old rear his head in the second quarter with Primus. If Mooney can stay injury free he will be a very good asset to have in the back line and possibly pinch hit in the foward line as well.
Kingsley was dissapointing, dropped a chest mark that he should have been able to take with his eyes closed and had a very dissapointing game.
Was also impressed with Thurley, looks as though this was a very good pick up, and can pin pass the ball.

Gumby was good, as i expected.

Loved Loats game, he didn't do so well in the ruck duels, but his work around the ground was great. So good to have a backup ruckman who can win his own footy.

Shannon Byrnes was good, although wait until he gets a chance around goal, then you really will get excited.

as a port fan, i was quite impressed with thurley ...took a few good marks and kicks well......

good (not against us tho) to see benny G play well...am a big fan of his and last year was poor

but not sure if cats can make finals without king..need him for stoppages...

good performance tho

James Bartel will play a much more prominent part for Geelong this year, Cresswell has taken a real likening to his style to play. This confidence instilled into James was evident on Saturday night, and it appeared he got quite a lot of match time, something that he noticeably lacked last year.

He lacked game time last year becuase he didn't work hard enough.
