What an absolute ball biter of a game that was.
Good old Lockyer. You can't beat experience. I tell ya though, there were a few poor bastards beaten up in that game. Glad none of the storm guys were hurt.

My heart was beating as fast as the 2006 AFL GF. It was bloody tense, at least it turned out right for me.

I thought we had it won when willie made the break just before full time but we still managed to take home the goods.. all i can say is lockyer is a legend and what a game!
If Stacey Jones could kick, they'd have won. No excuses to have a poor goal kicker in the team.

NZ injuries settled this game... all their forwards were out on their feet. Only a matter of time before an Aussie line break and try.

Plain and simple...Lockyer/Thurston combination is simply brilliant & Thurston is the best Half Back in the NRL..(slightly biased but still is )
