Hi guys, I'm a novice when it comes to organising details for a trip from Melbourne to AAMI stadium. Looking to head there for the Rd 4 game against Adelaide (April 17). Hoping people could provide some advice on:

1. When are tickets likely to go on sale for this game?
2. Will Carlton members get any advanced/special privileges or just chucked into the same pool as general ticket purchasers?

Any other advice people have on getting the best seat possible is more than welcome.

Gone interstate for the last 3 years and each time have been disappointed with club regarding their ticketing arrangements. As far as I know they usually only get tickets ~4 weeks before the game and can't tell you how many, when or where but more disturbingly even if you will get them.

This being said we've always got them, albeit with more nerves as timing grows closer.

Suggest you get in touch with club and do all you can to ensure you have the tickets reserved and continually stay in touch until release.

Thanks pie_squasher and igt. And particular thanks to Thy for getting this thread going, much appreciated.

Sounds rather precarious with tickets so hard to come by and flights and accomodation already booked...

Any other tips / exprience welcomed

One other thing.

Your ticket also gets you free public transport to and from AAMI.
Bus leaves from the front of the Casino every 10 or so minutes.

...and you can drink beer in your seat, but you have to put a lid on them when you take them from the bar. Can't stand in the outer with an open container, they are very strict on that.

Saves you from the dissapointment of getting back to your seat with a half full/empty (depending on how you roll) beer.
