Tickets for interstate games

I'm going over for the Bulldogs game, which will be the first Crows game that I have been to outside of SA since the McLeod shirtfront game against Essendon in 2002.

Just wondering if anyone here knows the best option for tickets for Etihad ? Is it better to buy the tickets before or just on the night ? If I buy tickets before, do I just enter in the barcodes from my memberships and buy them through the club member option ?

I did see those, personally I would buy them in an instant, but my wife and other friends that I am going with wouldn't really be keen to buy tickets off ebay.

I don't know how E-bay works in respect to positive and negative sellers but he seems to have a good track record with a plus 35 rating.

Yeah I know and they would be fine, but I would have to sit through 2 days of "I hope we haven't wasted our money on these tickets", so I already know not to bother.

Good tip I just saw that they have $20 tickets, but only in a very very small section at the Coventry End.

If you're with Telstra you can buy afl reserve tickets for $20.

You only have access to these seats if you're an afl member which costs $450 per year or the vic Adelaide essential membership which is $285. Or.. A Telstra customer. You'll have very good seats, level 1 on the wing.

Hmm, I thought it was all on the wing, that's where I sit but I'm vic crows essential member with access to Afl reserve, thought it was the same seats as these Telstra tickets.

Just tried to buy tickets and my barcodes don't work on the site, so my options are extremely limited to about 3 bays in the whole stadium.

It seems such a ridiculous system, there will only be 25k or so there, yet I can't seem to buy tickets anywhere

That's what I am trying to avoid, I have been up in level 3 before and it's terrible.

I've never managed to work out how Etihad works. Really just want to buy the best reserved seats I can, go online the day they are released, have a handful of average bays to choose from, settle for something just inside the 50 metre line on level 1. Then turn up on the day and there are large areas of empty seats all over the place in what I would consider better locations.

Yep this is exactly what I am finding myself.

No wonder they get shit crowds to games when their ticketing options are so limited for the games.
