Anyone got any information about tickets on sale to the general public? I'll be going if i can get a hold of 3 or 4 tickets, driving down from Sydney.

AFL websire should have something mate.

Just heard a story about more than 1,000 people queing to get tickets for the big game, one old guy was there since 8 or 9 in the mornng yesterday.

That's dedication to the cause in my book.

Anyone get in line for tickets at the SCG today or yesterday ?

I was 3rd in line- got there 4pm Friday and missed the match. I figured I'd rather miss a prelim than a Grand Final (though I was by no means sure we'd win it). Sat in the freezing cold rain for 19 hours, but my #4 ticket for the GF Preference queue tomorrow makes it worth it.

It might be an idea to ring the club on Monday morning or call Tony Morward, our Melbourne manager and he might be able to help you.

The line up thing is to do with members, not general public.

Is there any truth in the rumout that tickets were available to Sydney members before Melbourne-based members?

I put an ad in the daily telegraph asking for tickets and i know there is probably going to be an off chance that someone may try to sell couterfeit tickets, so what sort of 'anti-counterfeit' sort of logo is on the ticket? Some sort of reflective foil?

I havent seen my ticket yet. But post on RWO or the afl board. You will get more answers there.
