Tiges too strong for us

As devastated as I am about losing, I must admit that your guys played some great football tonight.

First of all was the cracking start - a 6 goal first quarter is always nice.
Then there was the inevitable fightback. I fully expected us to steamroll all over Richmond once we hit the lead, but the tiges were up to it.
The final quarter was the icing on the cake (or dagger in the heart for us).

Most of our players were well beaten tonight.
Deledio was brilliant, Foley sensational and your backline was in nice touch. Young players like King, Thursfield, Tuck, Raines and Pattison look likely types, forming a strong nucleus for years to come.

So props to Richmond, they thoroughly deserved the win. Good luck for the rest of the year and for 2008.

Very fast paced game, and I too was surprised we wrestled back the lead and went on with it. Something I havent seen from Richmond for a long while.

Yep, old home town, hope to get back there soon. Close to water (when the wier's full or river), snow, only 3 hours from the footy, what more could a bloke want......a richmond premiership would be nice.

I like it here, though I'm from Melbourne originally. Wier's very low, just waiting for the runoff. Stage 4 water restrictions.
3 hours is not too far away, was gonna go tonight, but went to the Carlton game last week instead. Glad I changed that...
A Tiger flag wouldn't be so bad either, I would hate that less than the other 14 clubs
