An email sent to me a couple of times this week has been doing the rounds again. All sides worst teams 1990-2003. I know it has been resurrected, but I'm still shaking my head at a few of these nuff-nuffs.

RICHMOND
B Lionel Proctor Brian Leys Mark McQueen
HB Jon Howat Stuart Wigney Wayne Herman
C Nathan Bower Mark Neeld Ben Moore
HF Ashley Blurton Anthony Banik Ben Holland
F Stevan Jackson Steven Jurica Paul Hudson
R Matthew Francis Trent Nicholls Bruce Lennon
INT Brett Evans Todd Breman Justin Plapp Mark Pitura

You know you're bad if Dundas, King and Sampson don't get a start in this line-up.

Do we have to see all this dribble????? What possible role does it play now???
We all know how schitt we've been over the last 20 years and could easily fit another 100 players on that list.

Let's move on and look forward to the future!!! The future involves guys like lids, tambo, pattison, meyer, etc etc

Man them names hold bad memories, although Lionel Proctor didn't really get a good chance to prove his worth.

I reckon Stuart Wigney is a little stiff , he played some ripping games in 95 before he busted his leg

agree IDGAF

Beat some quality opponents over the year and then did his.... knee ??

Remember him in the game when Richo did his knee , played a blinder after the big fella went down and we went on to win against the odds

3 guys you could do a lot better than would be.

Jon Howat
Stuart Wigney
Steven Jurica

These guys did a role for us and when thier time was up they were moved on. They would have been relatively cheap aswell and not paid beyond thier limited time.

I prefer that to any player who is kept on the list with poor performances and being paid well

Ben Holland and Bourke are perfect examples

I hate it when this comes up every year and everyone forgets to include Gary Frangalas.
Worthy candidate .... could even be given a leadership role

At the club for a long time for zero return on the investment .

If my memory serves me correctly , he couldn`t even get a kick at Clayton

Career over in 89, so dosen't qualify.

These teams are always stupid. A team of worst Richmond players would include guys like Simon Eastaugh and Pat Steifort who had 5 years with us without getting a game. All the guys in that team actually played which puts them in the top 50% of players, not the worst.

I think the un-written criteria Weaver is that they have to have played senior footy . I would say around the 10 game plus mark ..... anyone else have any thoughts on that ?

You cant rank blokes that haven`t played

I would use the criteria of output divided by time on the ground. That would put Ben Holland at a very low ratio and Jurica not so laughed at. It would actually show up Benny Gale a bit although he fixed it up towards the end.

Not to mention that along with the birdman, he is the ugliest man ever to wear the yellow and black.
