Do what I do after losing a hand in omaha after turning quads and losing to a one out royal on the river............throw your cordless mouse into the wall and start all over again.

lolol ive broken 2 keyboards and one mouse through tilting. Doesn't really help imo.

3 weeks ago I smashed a wall at Crown (was in an elevator at the time).

**** it hurt! Left a mark, on my knuckles

Take $10 to the .2/.4 tables, raise all in every hand until you bust a few people (you always feel better after you've ruined someone else's day) or they bust you.

After that's over with, withdraw all your funds, quit and play Football Manager for three months.

Then punch your monitor every time someone scores in the 90th minute to beat you.

Then return to poker.

In recent times I have found that I need to pyschologically prepare myself before a (live) session, so I try to remind myself to take the first bad beat in my stride. But seriously, if I'm honest with myself, I can put down most of my losses to what I (and not my opponent) did or didn't do.

It can be frustrating when you hit top pair on the flop, bet and get check-raised, only to hit top two pair on the turn, only to find out that your opponent raised on a gutshot, miraculously hit it, and there's no way you can put him on the nut straight. Sometimes there's a valid reason for their play, sometimes there isn't. You have to forget it and move on, take a break, be it 10 minutes or a couple days.

And sometimes I just yell out "****ING VARIANCE!"

In the end, poker is just one long session.
