Re: Re: Re: Tim Tam Slam

Tim Tams and milk... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... :p :p :p

Sounds good right about now-- and on a day like this, warm milk would do just fine. :)

Cheers,
William

Tim Tam's are nothin compared to cadbury's chocolate, whether it be caramel, plain, etc.

that song also had a great line in it....."you can use a tiny teddy by biting one arm and one leg off but that would be just too cruel".

Other Oxo Cuban songs....

"Letter L"

"My Car has a Very Nice Roof Rack"

Vindaloo Mat

I don't eat chocolate....so what? I'm 25 and I haven't for about 3 years now.

Just for the Seppo's/Poms out there, if you're curious, go to
www.homesick.com.au
they do hampers for homesick Aussies, delivered all around the world, with things like Tim Tams, Vegemite, Cadbury's chocolate included. Get your own slice of Australiana, delivered ASAP!

Squeak, you've always been a great poster, but now i respect you even more...

That is the same way i got introduced to the Tim Tam Slam :D

Cheers buddy.

Give the credit to my Year 7 music teacher!

Well I am currently putting together a package for a pom who I talk to on the internet. She's sending me Murray Mints and Thorntons toffee and loads of other goodies, and I'm sending her tim tams. Not from my decision, but because someone sent her some once and she's been craving them ever since!

I'm not sure what else to send - cherry ripes (my cousins in england love them, and get us to send them over constantly) and violet crumbles. But what else?

As for me? Yeah I like tim tams - not too many because they're really sweet, but there's really nothing like them. And yes I bite the ends off and drink through them so that they melt. Mmmm.

I like chocolate, just not tim tams. It's the bikkies, I don't like, if I'm having a choc attack I often just bite all the chocolate off the outside and eat the icing then throw the biscuit parts out.:p

Not that I'm an expert on this issue, but has anyone tried the double-dipped dark chocalate Tim Tams in the purple and brown wrapping.

I'm led to believe that this is the essence of Tim Tamness. Not that I've tried it, of course.

A suggestion - if you're sending anything fragile, don't use styrofoam to pack it - use Twisties. My mother did this for my brother in Ireland and it went down a treat. Maybe they don't fumigate these days!
