Fellow Tigers fans now that the Judd race is down to 2 clubs I think it is in our best interest to just sit back and watch the fun. Either way one of these 2 clubs is likely to either pay way over the odds to beat the other 1 to secure Judd or they are not going to offer enough and stuff trade week up completely thereby leaving us with the perfect chance to head into the draft with 3 top 20 picks and Judd practically signed via the PSD. While this might seem like I am excited at the possibilty of getting Judd I'm not, of we land him we land him if not we are in the same position we were 4 weeks back holding 3 top 20 picks as well as first crack at the best of the uncontracted talent. In reality we can't lose from this situation and can only gain from it. So why don't we all sit back calm down and see what the next 11 days will deliver us.

To be honest, I won't be that disappointed if we miss out on Judd. The Blues won't end up in an auction like bid with the Pies. Swann made that clear. If the Pies can beat our pick #3 plus player offer, then Judd is theirs. End of story. We don't need to do much, just sit back and watch the Pies try to scrape up a deal. It could get very messy and costly for the Pies. :)

I really hope Miller is listening, coz I DO NOT want the RFC to trade for Judd. Keep our picks and if by some wild circumstance, Judd ends up in the PSD, then great. If not, then take the next best player.

For your Club, that would be the best outcome. But the Pies are going to offer you a lot and will temp Terry. If the Pies can land pick #2, they won't need to do much more to get Judd. :)

I think he will choose both Pies and Blues and give WCE two options, I may be wrong as this is my opinion only.
I just dont understand why he wouldnt contact either Collingwood and Carlton today with his decision.
It doesnt look good if Chris Judd rejects the Dees because of their facilities but then says yet to Carlton.
The only reason why he would think of going to Carlton is because of $$$$$$.
I think many peoples perception of Chris Judd has diminished from this trade debacle

U guys should offer your first 2 pics and tambling for judd. atleast u will know u have a great player. we all know your drafting form. you'll probably just end up drafting another aaron fiora or tambling (duds) so go with the known performer
i think you guys will need him after buddy and hodge get suspended indefinitely for 3 strikes.. GO HAWKS!!!

Parrot, what is your gut feeling on where he will end up & at what cost ?

So what makes you think our drafting form will suddenly improve if we pick up Judd?

Good to see you've jumped on the Hawthorn bandwagon as well. Stay on the Hawks board until you learn to post sense, eh?

My gut feel is the Pies will get him. 70%. They are going to have to do a lot of trading, and somehow get a top-5 pick. If they manage to get the Tiges top-2 pick somehow, then it's almost gameover. But that will be hard. The advantage the Pies have, is that they know what Carlton's starting offer is, and they pretty much know the very most we'll offer. So the ball is entirely in their court. The Weagles want top draft picks. For the Pies to get Judd they'll need to offer either:

1. Pick #2 plus player

2. Pick #4 or #5, plus another pick from say 6 to 10

The Blues will be offering pick #3 and Kennedy or pick #20. BTW I'd hate to see Kennedy traded but that's the price we'd have to pay. The Weagles are very keen on drafting Morton, and they'll need at least pick #3 for that. They might try to construct a deal whereby the Tiges swap pick #2 with the Dees or Dons picks #4 or #5 for a player. Then the Pies could get the Dees or Don's upgraded pick by trading another player to them. It's going to be costly. They'll need to trade at least 3 quality players, and get a lot of cooperation for the teams with top draft picks. Everyone hates dealing with Collingwood which makes a complex deal even harder. :)

wtf are u asking that misinformed biased one-eyed carlton supporter his opinion for? :o

back on topic, well said Realistic Tiger, this is going to be an enjoyable trade week for us bc one of collingwood or carlton will pay way over the odds to get Judd. Im positive the weagles wil want the number 1 pick no negotiation on that from the blues, why let a competitor get the best player in the comp and the best junior in the land? and if carlton get smug and only offer pick 3 thats when we will come in and put pick 2 on the table

I agree,we need to get into Judds head that playing for the Tigers is not the end of the world. So come Thurs of trade week we tell West Coast pick 2 is on the table & start from there. All this talk bout the Blues having the best picks goes right out the window if pick 1 is off the table.

The hype and buzz at Tigerland would be absolutely humongous if we landed the prized signature. Imagine our younger rising stars walking 10 foot taller and training 110% harder with Juddie beside them. I hope we move heaven and earth to get him. It sends shivers up my spine just dreaming about it.
End of rant

omfg NOW YOUR A BLOODY MIND READER GET BACK TO THE carlton CAVE.

As each day passes it gets better and better for Richmond. With the Eagles now pushing for pick 1 from the Blues to snare Cotchin we would then end up with Kruezer, not a bad fall back position if you ask me. We are still coming out in front.

Then there is a rumour floating around that Richmond will do a deal with the Blues where they will trade us pick 3 for a used tissue with the promise that we overlook Judd in the PSD if they can't deal with the Eagles. Again another win for the Tigers as we would likely end up with both Cotchin and Morton also a win for Richmond. So as I stated a couple of days back no need for us to get too upset about the possibility of missing Judd as we could still end up rather big winners out of the whole thing.
