also on tip 8s, can someone please tell me how the payout is determined? is it like a multi where all the odds of the winning teams get multiplyed ? i did a tip 8 this week and am curious

I think it has something to do with the money pool from other punters and the amount of people that get the 8 tips right.

100 people place 1 Tip8 bet each (let's say $1 cost) means there's $100 in the pool.

The TAB take $20 from this pool for giving you the privelege to bet.

If you're the only bloke that tips eight - you collect $80.
If ten blokes tip eight - the dividend is $8.
